 Feed the Hungry

For three years now, KidzKare has devoted it's energy to passionately advocating for children.  Our literacy, health care and fresh food initiatives have provided books, free healthcare and free food to over 20,000 Rochester area children.  Most of the children we serve are under or uninsured members of our community. Find out how you can contribute to the future of someone in need through donations of money and time. .

We love to teach

We take care of kids

Early childhood literacy means success in school.  Join us in collecting new and used books through our support of a local Reach Out and Read project as well as KidzKare's Recycled Reader program.  To date we have provided over 15,000 books to local kids.

Free health physicals and screening services will be offered at our annual Back to School Bonaza on August 23rd.  We partner with over 40 local health care professionals and nonprofits to bring this program to our most at risk children.

Local food pantries don't have fresh produce - which is why our local, organic raised garden bed program is getting so much attention. Devote an afternoon this summer helping  Raising Rochester stock local pantries with fresh vegetables.

Our Mission

The purpose of KidzKare is to create, provide and support activities that improve the physical, mental, emotional, social, and educational health of infants, children, and adolescents in the greater Rochester, Michigan area.
